Thanks for you being so open and honest. At 61, I’ve been there a few times. I’m alive as you so well posted. At leats for now.

I have a great support system now, but as I am sure you know there is always that fret of something not working.

As I said even at 61 it’s there. What really is disturbing lately is the report you mentioned from the CDC and the number of older people committing suicide.

A friend of mine just two weeks at the age of 71 took his life. He has been suffering with nerve damage and couldn't play his instrument that well anymore and was supposed to be going on tour in the next few weeks.

You just never know. Age has nothing to do with suicide. It’s about wants and needs.

That may sound weird, but I’ll be writing about that tomorrow or Sunday.
