When Enough is Enough

Have you ever been at that point when enough is enough?

I’ve been there many times. I can remember in the early 70’s when Greenpeace was just beginning on the West Coast and us on the East Coast wanted to follow and join.

I was in college though and figured let’s just start a branch over here and that’s what we did. Back then we were terrorists of a different sort who had to hide in coffee shops not to be caught by the coppers (slang in the old days).

We worked hard to accomplish as much as possible on the East Coast and many times were successful.

This quote today from a fantastic environmentalist by the name of Jaques Yves Cousteau, whom I am sure you’ve heard of is just what I needed to remind everyone about what is going on out there.

What are your feelings about the quote and our world right now?

Water and air, the two essential fluids on which all life depends, have become global garbage cans.
