The film directors perfectly capture the roles of these two main characters by revealing the true intentions of each one of them. The Director

Mark Murphy has been working in the movie industry for some years now and he has managed to direct some great movies such as ‘’For Love or Money.’’ This great movie director has managed to star in directing movies that are in the horror and comedy genre. A perfect example of one of his movies is ‘’The inbetweener Fame’’ starring James Buckley.

Summary

This interesting captures two most interesting characters; Mark and Connie. In the film, Mark is on the verge of getting an inheritance of approximately twenty million dollars. He has had a long time crush who is Connie and despite all his efforts, he has never managed to be with her.

However, when Connie gets information on the inheritance Mark is bound to get, she tries all that she can to try and woo him to marry her. She knows that it will not be a hard nut crack because she is aware of how Mark feels towards her. Connie’s main mission is to ensure that Mark marries her so that she gets the inheritance from him.

Unfortunately for her, Mark gets wind of this information just when he is about to marry her. He is disappointed and mad at her; therefore, he tries his best to try and inconvenience her so that she can reveal what her true intentions are. It now becomes a matter of suspense because you will be left wondering if Connie will reveal what her intentions are or will Mark admit that he knows of her plans?

Plot Analysis

1. Visual Gags

From most reviews, the film is termed as an ‘’unromantic comedy’’ due to the numerous ways that Mark succeeds in annoying Connie. Anger fuels Mark to do so many things to Connie and one of the most infuriating is by switching her shampoo with hair removal cream. He goes to the extent of filling the entire house with grotesque arts and paintings of his and Connie’s. The director is smart to make perfect comic timing and all the visual gags that he implements to amuse the viewers.

2. Political Outlook

One of the most important aspects of this film that gives it a healthy political outlook is the fact that it does not imbue its main characters like most films do. Instead, the director ensures that the main characters are able to realise their faults. He creates an impression to the audience that life has so much to offer than just money. He maintains this theme throughout the film and includes it in the conclusion.

Conclusion

‘’For Love or Money’’ generally is a nice film since the main casts dedicate their all to the movie. They play their roles so professionally that it becomes hard for one to notice any shortcomings that are present in the movie. The roles that Robert Kazinsky and Samantha Barks play promotes the film by helping other minor characters realise hidden truths. The film has plenty of comical scenes, jokes and it is only fair to say that it is among the best in romantic-comedy genre.
