How I got inspired to be a User Experience researcher

Earlier this year when I came to know about User experience, I am very fascinated and excited that finally design is not solely on re-creating or creating a unique product. With UX, it is a design that is backed with research.

Just last year, my brothers and I was in a startup business of a mobile application. We’ve gotten grants from organisations.. However a few months later , we ran out of funding or perhaps..poor money management. Looking at the invoice, huge portion of our funding was spend on paying the developers and web designer. Especially spending ridiculous amount of money just to make minimal iteration. It was disastrous, looking at the time and effort all gone to waste.

I learnt a lesson after discovering user experience expertise, I believe they should be placed at the fore front of the company. Designing and making decision that meeting both the business and customer needs, leading all departments in the company to the right direction with one goal in mind. Be it branding, marketing or business strategy.. Thus , I am eager and excited to start learning User experience design in General Assembly!
