“Time of merrymaking before Lent,” has all but been forgotten term, when it comes to carnivals. What draws people to shows with rides, cotton candy, over priced beer and long lines at the French fry stands? Just that? To justify overindulgence and cravings we can not possibly satisfy on any other day?

The hunger. So deep and unrelentless that it almost seems like a need over the plain fun.

The project in its infancy, looking at the carnivals accross different spectrums, from small to larger ones. Known and unknown. Trying to see the common thread between the show and the those who crave it.
