Jason, thanks for this. Over the years, I’ve heard you speak and answer questions to the audience on three different occasions, and I had the immediate reactions to your ideas, points of view, and responses: you were arrogant and disrespectful to the audience, and I actually didn’t agree with your ideas. This was before *and* after my own reflexive reaction to your material.

While I still don’t agree with some aspects of your approach to software, I have been enlightened by others. It’s great to know that you’ve built this self awareness for yourself, because It makes *me* appreciate and take example of more of what you have to say.
