Fujifilm Instax Mini Link Smartphone Printer — Dusky Pink

Top Reviews:

They have managed to cram more gimmicks into this printer/app than I ever thought possible. It’s kind of horrifying and sometimes I think I hear the printer begging to be put out of its feature-creep misery. Regardless, if you just leave the printer standing upright and don’t treat it like a bop-it, and then carefully navigate the app staying out the “party mode” and “quiz” mode, it actually does produce great quality prints. One note, if you are a Google Photos user you might not be able to find all of your photos. I am guessing because Google Photos does not actually store all of them locally on your device. I had to find the photos I wanted in Google Photos and manually download them into a folder on my phone, then I was able to find them using the Instax app and print them.

Strange reason why I bought this but at my work party; we always take Polaroids for Christmas and sadly, my ethnic partners are always blacked out and don’t show up too well in all their glory. I bought this, tweeked some settings so everyone else can look not their skin tone and a little bit more inclusive. Also my dog passed away and I used this Polaroid printer to make a little shrine for her. I had originally taken pictures of her as she grew up with my actual Instax 8 but I ran out of film and stopped tradition for a while. I kept thinking, I’ll get more film soon; didn’t expect her to leave us so.. this printer.in a way helped me mourn too.

I think there is a problem with my device because I am not able to connect my smartphone (Android) and my wife’s smartphone (iOS) at the same time although there is a party mode to connect until 5 smartphones at the same time. Also, I expected to print brightener pictures and with better resolution. I know that the specs say that you must use a smartphone to print, but I would like to use my laptop too.

HP Sprocket Portable 2x3" Instant Photo Printer (Luna Pearl) Print Pictures on Zink Sticky-Backed Paper From Your iOS & Android Device

Well what I like about the sprocket it’s a great little printer but it’s not perfect. The goodSmall sizeTravels well no ink can pass through airports with easeSuper easy to use and se up foolproofNot so goodSmall size 2X3 printsNeeds workNo 4X6 unless you purchase more expensive modelYou can buy glossy paper use your ink jet printer to produce same resultsHowever I love this little guy fun little printer in appropriate use

Easy to set up and use but wanted other photos. I may consider buying the bigger version. Also the photo quality is not that great.

I like that it’s small and portable (fits in my purse) with an easy set-up. You can also crop the original picture, apply filters add borders (good selection to chose from), stickers, and you can type a message on them. I noticed that if the picture is too “closed up” or “zoomed in” it won’t automatically adjust the size to fit the 2X3 photo paper so it will cut off a persons’s head or legs depending on the area that is zoomed. I didn’t see an option to print multiple pictures at once but again I just received the product so I’m still learning. Also, after choosing to print 4 copies of the same picture it became warm and gave me a code message that required I wait until it cooled off. Overall it has good picture quality and meets my purpose for “quick print” — “at the moment” pic to share with my friends and family! 🙂

KODAK Step Wireless Mobile Photo Mini Printer (White) Compatible w/ iOS & Android, NFC & Bluetooth Devices

So I guess, Kodak still needs to improve their products in terms of inkless printing. The size is good, the weight is good, printing is easy but the main part is lacking.. don’t expect to print pictures with the same exact quality and stuff because that’s where it goes a little bit down.Maybe there’s a trick or so in terms of adjusting it on the app; hence, I still need to figure it out.

What’s great about this printer is that is so light and small you can take it anywhere you need. On the road, on a trainride, wherever you feel like printing. Also, it has a long battery life so you don’t always have to be connected to power to get the job done.

Got this and opened it. It does need to be fully charged once you get it out of the box. Once it’s fully charged you need to follow the instructions and put the blue card inside the printer first then the white photo paper on top. Also you need to download the app. I first put all 5 photo paper it comes with in with the blue card and it kept telling me there was a paper jam. So I then put only one piece of photo paper inside at a time and this seemed to work better for getting my photos to print. The first pic I printed seem to come out the best. The other 4 photos I printed came out with lines on the photos. Not that great quality. I ve ordered more zink photo paper to see if I can get the lines to go away somehow. I ve read somewhere that the printer might be dirty inside and that’s what’s causing the lines on the photos. I gave 3 stars because of these issues.

HP Sprocket 2-in-1 Portable Photo Printer & Instant Camera Bundle with 8GB microSD Card and Zink Photo Paper — White (5MS95A)

Small, kinda hoped for better picture prints but it is still pretty nice.

I’m liking this little printer, I wanted something small I could have fun with at work and use it on vacation for my vacation Journal. Like the other reviews you do get a slight blue tint on the photos but I wasn’t expecting this to print frame quality photos. I’m liking it so far

Are use this at work to make photo IDs for students. It’s great and easy to use and there is also an app you can use to make templates such as borders and put text on as well. Their app doesn’t have very many options but I’m hoping soon that their app offers more than just the basics. I am very happy with this particular unit though I would rather have a digital screen to view the picture versus having a viewfinder that is very small to look at or look through. When you’re using the app you can use it on your phone or tablet or any kind of device. It’s definitely worth getting And the photo paper is affordable.

Pictures come out pink they don’t match the pictures you take

It’s good for journaling which is why I bought it.

In the support forum I find lots of people with this issue, but HP hasn’t resolved it. I tried resetting, using the right paper, rescanning the blue card — all failed :(. But now that i’ve used up most of the paper trying to make it work, I’m not sure I can return it…

Canon IVY Mini Photo Printer for Smartphones (Rose Gold) — Sticky-back prints, Pocket-size

Very hard to get the printer paper

I’ve really been wanting this and was so excited to finally purchase it and I’m a little disappointed by how the pictures come out so dark. Even lightening it up before printing it still comes out dark.

The Good:- Very portable because of its light weight and small footprint (pic of my iPhone 8 Plus and the IVY printer)- No ink necessary, just needs the photo paper refills!- Super easy set up and installation, simply connect via Bluetooth and then add the printer in the Canon Mini Print app- Fast printing from the app to the printer (prints 1 photo in about 25 seconds)- Fully charges in 75 minutes- Mini Print iOS app is awesome and basically a full photo editor, you can do all kinds of effects and manipulations on photos taken all for free (this is my new go to app for photo effects)- Just all around fun to be able to share physical memories with family and friends on the spotThe Bad:- I wish the printer could hold more than 10 sheets as you go through them pretty quick- If possible faster printing time but for this small of a printer, it’s hard to beatThe Bottom Line:Wow, rarely do I see a new product that is as well thought out as this printer and associated app. I have an Instax camera and while that’s fun, this printer and associated app blows it out of the water. The big difference between the Instax and this Canon printer+app is the ability to take a photo and add after effects on my own phone and then print the photo instantly on the printer. The 2 problems I have with the Instax camera was I couldn’t center the subject easily and also had trouble with the lighting exposure. I ended up wasting a lot of photo sheets trying to get it right with the Instax camera. However, with the Canon Mini Print app, I can see the photo and add text or other effects and then print the photo. This saves a lot of wasted photo sheets. The set up of the Canon IVY printer is super easy in that it just connects via Bluetooth and installing the photo paper just involves popping off the top and dropping in the photo packet (pics attached to review). The speed of the printer for this size is quite good at 25 seconds (video attached). Being rechargeable, light weight and small, it’s great to take anywhere and just throw in your backpack or purse and have the ability to print photos for people as instant mementos. Overall this is a fully baked out device and app and a ton of fun to use and share memories, highly recommended!

Love it

Item is quite nice. It sturdy and ready to be handled.

This fit my new mini printer PERFECTLY. It did have this weird smell the first few days. Like a packaging type smell, but that gradually went away. It’s a good size and a reasonable price.

Canon SELPHY CP1300 Desktop or Portable Inkjet Laser Bluetooth Wireless Compact (4x6 Label) Photo Printer (Black) Canon KP-108IN Color Ink Paper Set | Includes USB Printer Cable Gentle Cleaning Cloth

Top Reviews:

Prints come out grainy and we can’t seem to get them to print without cutting off arms, heads etc. We want to print 4x6 images from photos off of Facebook and our phone and it never seems to come out right. I really want to finish my Family Tree wall that I painted. If y’all can help me remedy this and it works I’ll rate you higher. :-)

The image quality of this printer is simply amazing. My main complaint is that I wish that it had a larger paper loader because I can eat through 20 prints in no time like candy. The only other issue is the printer driver support for it is not ideal. If you are printing from windows using USB it’s really solid. Printing from Android over wifi is not great and it tends to have a hard time if you queue too many prints. Canon has an add on printer extension for Android that helps a bit. I eventually connected the printer to a windows laptop and shared the printer so I could more easily print from my phone using android but still it occasionally stops printing if I queue too many prints. It however is still a great deal and the printer itself is well built and seems pretty durable and very portable. For the volume of printing it’s caused me to want I may get a larger desktop dye sub printer.

I give this a 3 star because the film runs off quickly. I just printed 2 photos and film was gone. Picture quality was good though

This was a Christmas gift on my granddaughter’s Christmas list. She was excited to receive it. I have not had any further from her.

Nice and easy to set up and use. Good quality pictures. And I love the sticker backing on the photo paper.

Phomemo 300dpi Mini Photo Printer- M02 Pro Pocket Thermal Bluetooth Printer Compatible with iOS and Android, for Photo Printing, Plan Journal, DIY Cards, List, Travel, Work and Study, Cyan

Top Reviews:

Lots of fun to use! Creates high quality sticker output with a variety of different thermal paper styles. It’s quiet, fast, easily portable! Easy to connect, print, load paper. And you can print regular photos, lists, gift labels, mini banners, illustrations — whatever you can imagine. Perfect for anyone to use. Would definitely recommend for children, but make sure there’s parental supervision if they’re small — the little metal teeth are sharp if you open the phomemo but generally you can’t feel them when it’s closed and you’re just ripping the little sticker off. In the photos I’m using ‘Transparent White Thermal Sticker Paper for Phomemo M02/M02 Pro/M02S, 50mm x 3.5m, Diameter 30mm, 3 Rolls’ — and I’ve also used the stock white sticker paper that comes pre-loaded into the phomemo. Everything comes out beautifully regardless of which you choose. I prefer to make my image black and white prior to printing on the thick setting. I don’t scrapbook but this would be a really cool addition if that’s your thing. I just enjoy stickers and it’s a pretty neat little machine!

If you are hesitating to buy this, don’t!It is so worth it. It arrived early, is super cute, and is SO cool. It can be used for so many different things, work AND play. Actual photo prints come out a little dark/not very clear, but they’re not terrible — and it is what I had expected anyway. The app is awesome. The convenience is awesome. If I could change one thing, it would be to be able to bold certain portions of text, rather than all of it. With that being said, I would give this printer 10 stars if I could.

I bought this printer to take with me to trade shows and print receipts. It does the job…well kind of. So let me start by saying it doesn’t connect via Bluetooth in the traditional sense, where you go into Bluetooth settings on your phone and connect — you have to use the phomemo app to connect. This is fine if you’re ok with having to take a screen shot of what you want to print and then open the app and print the photo (since it doesn’t connect in the traditional manner you can’t air print). This printer would be perfect if it was air print compatible (then it would work with the PayPal app and other air print compatible apps).Overall it’s not bad for a $60 compact printer, especially considering the affordability and variety of the paper rolls (brothers Zink paper is $20-$40 for a roll). Hopefully phomemo will come out with a printer (or a firmware update for current printers) that allows air print compatibility — then this printer would be perfect!!!
