What The Grading Scale Should be

This is how I think the grading scale should go in middleschool- high school- and college!

A+ (4.5) 97–100

A (4 .0) 94–96

A- (3 .7) 90–93

B+ (3 .5) 87–89

B (3 .3) 84–86

B- (3 .0) 80–83

C+ (2 .7) 77–79

C (2 .5) 74–76

C- (2 .0) 70–73

D+ (1 .7) 67–69

D (1 .5) 64–66

D- (1 .0) 60–63

F (0 .0) BELOW 60

All schools should put the grade one gets next to the subject and the GPA they made as well!

Honor Roll:

NO F’s or D’s!

Honors can include any grades from C- and up and the student must meet the B- GPA of 3.0 or higher to place! One C grade of any sort will bump the student down just honors only as long as the B- GPA is met!

High Honors can include B+ and above grades and 3 .5 GPA or higher to place! However one B+ or more and the rest A’s and the student automatically places as high honors! Even if all B+’s or more of those than A grades!

Highest Honors can include any A- or above grades and nothing below a 3 .7 GPA

Honorable Mention awards: Any student who receives B- and above but didn’t meet the 3.0 because of several reasons yet had no grades below a C- and their GPA was a high C+ of 2.9 to 2.99 (this could have happened because they had all B-’s and one C+ for example and the GPA slipped to below B-!

In college- Deans List would be a B- average or higher of 3 .0 or higher! Nothing below a C- and the student can place as long as they meet the 3.0!

At graduation overall averages of 3.0–3.5 a student would graduate cum laude

3.6–3.8 Manga Cum Laaude

3.9–4.0 Sum Cum Laude
