Originally from Britain, or England to be more precise, I lived in Los Angeles for 10 years before moving to Japan. Before achieving success as a musician, I was a professional support worker for trauma survivors, and other adults with complex needs, such as mental and physical issues. I studied Engineering and Law at University. I had my own mental health breakdown in my mid-twenties, and on my road to recovery completed a Master's Degree in Music Composition for Film & TV in London. I've spent my life pondering how the x billion of us can all live together in peace with meaningful lives. I've witnessed firsthand the struggles in the townships of Malawi, the impact of the class divide, and life in ghettos and the backstreets of cities from Luxor, Egypt to Los Angeles. I boast a smattering of several languages, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese - but still struggle to be fluent in any other than English.
