Podcast 22: Lung Cancer, Funding, and Stigma

A few weeks ago in response to a Twitter Chat on lung cancer I did a podcast regarding my wife’s diagnosis with stage IV cancer in January of 2009. She passed away August of 2011. During this period of time I never addressed the specifics of the disease because of the stigma. This podcast was my first time addressing that issue. What you’ve published is important and critical in our collective goal to improve outcomes and survival of this disease. And, to help those suffering not to suffer more unnecessarily.
