Food & Family, Growing Up in a Café

I grew up in small town in the mountains of Northern California with 10,000 people. It spread over 45 miles of highway and not a single traffic light. I lived in two different homes; a log cabin and a little café owned by my parents. At one home pancake batter bubbling on a flat top grill gave way to burgers sizzling.
