User Onboarding Spotlight: Why Yummly’s UX is Absolutely Delicious

When I signed up for Yummly, I was insanely impatient by the end of all this “onboarding.” If I’m counting right, there are FIFTEEN screens before you can get started with actually finding a recipe. Couldn’t some of this data — like how many people I’m cooking for — be gathered later? Would rather have a single prompt on say, every third session, than have to fill out what feels like a full bio just to get a chicken curry recipe.
