Hi Deborah. When I was a child I had a special pad with a stiff plastic sheet on the front which lay on top of an inky backing sheet. I'd use a stiff plastic "pen" to do a drawing, then lift it quickly to erase it, and start again. The thing about the Buddha Board is I see it slowly disappearing, almost of its own accord - a bit like life!
