Chicken Soup, the Jewish Prozac

I loved this as it made me miss my mom’s chicken soup. But I make it, with a few variations all winter long because it’s soothing and like your title indicates, the Jewish Prozac. My Catholic-born husband loves it too.

You mentioned leeches. My father was from Poland and came to America in the 30's. He told me the elders would put leeches on his body if he was sick. Totally grossed him out!
