I served in the Navy for 8 years. I had my security clearance at some point. I was trying to come back in but the application has so many many many questions it is mind boggling. I got honorable discharge. My question is: “where did his kids serve?” Awww — I forgot the privileges of the ultra rich. I’m a good citizen. I have been paying my taxes since I was fifteen years old. I have attended good universities and have very good grades to back it up. It makes me so sad that I have the desire to serve yet politics get in the way. The only thing the application doesn’t ask is the time I go to the bathroom, but I suppose the government knows that already. Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate the fact that our government is so strict when it comes to selecting who can join and who cannot. I have been in the ranks why make it so hard for them? They have experience both in the civilian as well as in the military.
