Food On Parade

(for the love of food and others)

I eat therefore I am. And I made a wordpress blogs ( http://coffetalk2010.wordpress.com/ ) solely dedicated to my coffee and food adventure. It has been almost three years and I am still exploring different cafes and restaurant to satisfy my hunger physically, intellectually. I have been to Palawan and ate some of the local dishes. I have been to Davao and tried their restaurants uphill. I have tried mega Manila and drank coffee and indulge in some popular food destinations.

I have tried Korean menus since I am employed in a Korean company ( Kepco) and almost every month my manager treats us in a nice Korean restaurant. Love those chili food and vegetables and soup and others.

Usually I am looking for a coffee shop and have a drink with my nephews and other cousins. I will rate the food, the service and put it on my blogs.

I even feature carinderia ( small restaurant) to see the day-to-day dishes of us Filipino.

Eating for me is therapeutic except for the fact that it really adds on my risk of having a hypertension. Just a couple of weeks ago I had a lunch with Miss D and she have arrived from Hongkong and she told me about some personal problems while eating at Max’s in Southmall. All she needed was us to listen to her. Sometimes I go to Seattle’s Best since I love the ambiance and the quietness of the place. Sometimes I go to Figaro in Alabang to reminisce some happy moments.

Eating is not only our obligation to ourselves but to others because in dining out we are reaching out to our friends. Once in awhile we have this get-together with my fellow writers back in college and we always ended up in eating together or reminisce our Lycean days. With my high school classmates we always had this eating and drinking session as part of our reunion. Last December 2012 we were in F.Baylosis Restaurant.

And sometimes I've got food as gift from Cindy. And I am missing her a lot.
