Great article and a great story about product validation! Thanks a lot for sharing this. I totally agree. An MVP is all about your product validation, BEFORE building. You shouldn’t focus on the product, but on the problem you’re solving. Sometimes it’s easy to forget about it.

I’ve seen the same trend in a software industry, especially that recently tech startups are very popular. I’m running a software development company and I’ve seen many people trying to build a dedicated software as their MVP before they make a proper customer development. This is a good, but not the only way of product validation.
