You need some space

Hi, Jonas. I’ve been AWOL in regards to keeping up with your posts for a good month or so — life got a little hectic. But now that things are settling down again, I’m feeling the urge to nurture my creative side.

I’ve been working with some of my photos and determining how I want to get them out into the world. It’s become clear to me that a series of children’s books is on the horizon. And the journal is back out.

In fact, prior to opening your email, I just searched for, found, and ordered a coffee mug with a picture of my muse — who, by the way, was revealed to me out of the blue in a dream around this time last year.

At the time, I had no idea why this relic from my five-year-old self suddenly re-entered my world, but I added a picture of her to my desktop background months ago. However, I do know that the Universe works in mysterious ways and if we just trust that details and direction will be given at the right time, that is exactly what will happen.

Therefore, when I made the decision to actually open your email this morning — at the exact moment that I did (immediately following the purchase of my ‘muse mug’) — it was like I was being given a loving pat of encouragement from the Universe.

So, thank you, Jonas. You never know when YOU are going to be used as a vessel of divine motivation for others. You were just that this morning.

Here’s a pic of my somewhat cluttered creative space, which takes up one wall of our main entrance/mud room/laundry room/seedling-starting room. Though it’s cluttered, it is cluttered with the things that inspire me. Oh, and it’s completed by my sweet pup on her bed next to my feet.

Until the next time your words inspire me to respond…… Cheers!! ~ Marni
