10 things we’re grateful for on Thanksgiving
1Fresh snow
Take a minute to appreciate the change of seasons, the childlike wonder of seeing the first winter snowflake, and the ability to go outside and enjoy it.

2St. Joan of Arc Chapel
Not many campuses have such a beautiful and historically significant building as the chapel at the heart of our campus. It’s a gift.

3 Fall on Campus
We’re a campus in the middle of the city, and yet we’re fortunate to be surrounded with vibrant colors and natural beauty. Did you know that campus is home to more than 40 trees and shrubs that are native to southeastern Wisconsin?

4Dr. Lovell
Hands down one of the coolest Presidents EVER. Don’t just take our word for it — follow him on Instagram.

5Tuesday Night Mass
We’re fortunate to witness the powerful combination of spiritual fulfillment and social camaraderie every Tuesday.
6 Bears vs. Packers
One of the most storied rivalries in football plays out on Thanksgiving day. A rivalry that divides our campus every year!

7The Calm Before the Storm
Finals are coming, but Thanksgiving is a 3-day vacation as important as an exam curve or a dropped exam question. Buckle up and enjoy the calm before the storm.

8Our Community
We’re grateful to attend an institution that highlights the importance of giving back. We’re even luckier to be in a position where we can serve others in Milwaukee and around the world!

9The People
Whether we’re celebrating at home or starting the festivities early with a “Friendsgiving,” we’re grateful to be spending time with the people we love. This is a chance to reflect and thank the people in our lives who will have our backs no matter what.

10 Marquette = Home
Whether you’re traveling far for Thanksgiving or if you’re staying on campus, remember that you will always have a home at Marquette. We’ll be here for you.
