Namaste in school

Gathering for a workout and stress management on Marquette’s campus

What do you do when the normal stresses of the semester creep in?

Yoga is one option to increase blood flow, reduces stress and increases focus. Fortunately, yoga is offered at Marquette through MUMedicalClinic classes and the Employee Wellness Program.

Shayna Broadwell from Core Essence Yoga has taught yoga at Marquette for more than two years, and has led groups through strength and flexibility exercises for a total of nine years.

Broadwell leads participants of all skill levels through a series of exercises. She also speaks about the power of letting go of stress and seizing the day.

Marquette University offers a full wellness program for employees, complete with group fitness classes. Some offerings include yoga, total body conditioning, CrossFit, Zumba and cycling. Click here to see the full schedule of classes. Namaste.
