Now hiring: Multi-media production intern

Interested in telling stories through multimedia? Do you have a passion for marketing? Marquette University’s Office of Marketing & Communication is currently seeking an intern for its multimedia production department. This individual should be currently enrolled in an accredited university. The ideal candidate would have an interest in both video production, and video marketing.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The multimedia production department at Marquette is responsible for creating brand awareness through the use of video. The multi-media production intern will assist in the brainstorming and production process of these videos while gaining valuable knowledge and experience in both the areas of video production and video marketing.
INDIVIDUAL PROJECT:
Intern will work independently on his/her own video projects over the course of a semester while working in the OMC office. He/she will create this project with the supervision of the multimedia executive producer. The goal of the independent project is to create quality marketing piece for usage on the Marquette website.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Transcription of footage
• Acting as a production assistant on a variety of video shoots.
• Attending edit sessions
• Creating DVD dubs and DVD labels
• Assisting in coordinating video shoots
• Attend meetings
• Some basic editing
• Some basic videography
• Other administrative duties for OMC office (deliveries, etc)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be available to work 10–15 hours a week
• Must have a passion for telling stories
• Must have experience or interest in marketing
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite especially Adobe Premiere and DSLR video encouraged but not necessary.
