A successful ballet dancer/wanna-be tap dancer is in love with a successful tap dancer/actress that aspires to meet and dance with her only to find out that he wanted more. He tricks her into falling in love and marrying him.

Another film from my Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers collections. It’s a light-hearted, romantic comedy that will get up you and dancing while happily falling in love.

Apart from the great dance performances, there’s one with the skates on too that’s a favorite in the film. I’m really happy with Ginger Rogers on this one. We usually see her being led by Fred Astaire when it comes to the dances but she proved that she’s his equal in this film. It’s such a joy to watch this movie.
