Why the World is Better Off Without American Leadership
umair haque

You state, basically, that the United States failed to lead, and, therefore, that the world is better of without United States leadership. And you base that on the US action in economics.

I suggest you read the book “Three Days in January”. It is the story of President Eisenhower prepared his farewell address, but it is also a capsule summary of his eight years in office. Perhaps you didn’t know that after Ike forced the Korean armistice six months after taking office (after Truman dithered for two years) not one singe service man or woman died during Eisenhower’s term of office.

I suggest that the United States has offered great leadership to the world and internally, but people have not always wanted to follow the leader.
