Spot on! I’ve been saying this since I’ve worked with a designer for the very first time! I’ve noticed two types of web designers (I’m new to this, so do share any ‘norms’ I haven’t discovered yet); The ones who make mock-ups, and help you visualize the UX and user flow (no coding offered). And the ones who do that AND they also provide CSS code (for the colors, spacing, etc). Sure, a designer in the former category adds value, yet the latter is the one who saves the day (and my sanity). Also, I’ve noticed that the former ones are usually freelancers, while most of the latter ones are taken (full-timers)! Thanks for sharing! :)
