In 2020, A plague wiped out most of the human beings. Hundreds and thousands of them died. In order to re-form a functional society, humans took primitive animals as pets and genetically improved them so that they could adapt to the modern world. In the course of less than two years, the animals went from performing mere tricks to performing services.

On August 6, 2034, with the support of several private investors, military colonel John-Martin Maisso left Earth from a space launch pad in the Chilean desert, accompanied by Rodrick Mark 1, a state-of-the-art robot. The plan was to land on the Martian surface, and there build bases so that humans and animals could create a new civilization on the red planet. By the year 2036, they managed to land successfully.

In 2064, 30 years after Colonel Maisso’s arrival on Mars, the problems on earth were getting worse. The scarce food, the lack of resources such as water and clean air, made it increasingly difficult for humanity to rise again. All contact with the colonel had been lost, they had not received news for a long time. Faced with these facts, a committee of scientists then decided to send a group of animals with super-intelligence to be the first to settle and form a society, with the promise of eventually being colonized by humans.

The astronaut pets were sent to Mars to help the Colonel establish a Martian society once and for all.
