Embracing Ambiguity

as part of The Innovation Process, we’re talking about the way you aim to resolve and approach problems in innovation. Ambiguity is a part of that process, because it deals with the abstract notion of a journey towards a solution.

Why ambiguity? Patrice Martin says “we have to give ourselves permission to explore.” The exploration process involves both right and wrong turns, a journey that is not necessarily comfortable. The process of ambiguity is something I engaged in my first role in customer service (a special type of service) but it’s a process that should be applied in more aspects in life.
