Case Study

Carol Holmes (Migrant CEO of the Innovation Department of Whole Bank) wants to improve an innovative option to help traveling costumers to go shopping with out the idea of using a credit or debit card.

They already have an app that allowed shopping in it.

· The user will use it at the shop.

·They already have their information in the platform.

To resolve this problem, I talked to some traveling costumers and analyzed the frecuent problems to use a credit or debit card to play abroad.

The most popular answer was the risk for carrying a card, 3 of my interviewed costumers lost their credit or debit card in the last 6 months during a trip.

Other problem, that they told me was the fact that the stores didn't accept cards, only cash. And they had to use ATM machines. Thing that they feel very insecure and tedious.

My objetive is to give the costumer the option to not bring their card to go shopping, no matter where they are. The plan is to allow them to pay with their smart phone, scanning barcodes or QR codes.

The most important object I learn is that the process is the most important thing, it doesn't matter what the problem is, if you follow the steps of the design thinking process it is going to continue resolving and getting to the finish line.
