I can never read this enough times! Thank you (again), Ben! Although I have to disagree that throwing yourself under a cold shower is the best approach! Lol! I’ve been taking cold showers for about 5 years now and I think there are better, less discouraging ways to approach the cold water first thing in the morning (it’s the first thing I do in the morning, btw). It DOES make a world of difference in how I wake up my mind and body! Go in slowly, one ankle, one leg, one arm at a time, rubbing each section with your hands until the cold water feels soothing instead of shocking. You’ll get to the point where you don’t even like warm water anymore! No cold water on the top of your head, though! Keep shampooing with warm water. And, in the winter, cover yourself up with warm clothing as soon as you get out of the shower. Enjoy!
