Reframing the Narrative on Entrepreneurship

Great article. Being an entrepreneur is very tough, staying an entrepreneur for year after year is even tougher. It takes commitment, passion, mental strength, thick skin and a great moral compass.
I’ve been lucky to “pilot my own boat” for over 20 years and when asked how I’ve kept it going the answer has never been about money. It’s about choosing what you do, when, how and with whom you build great relationships.
Doing something you value and derive enjoyment and satisfaction is all that matters – and is usually what defines long-term happiness and success. If you’re lucky enough to do it well and be in the right places at the right times over a lifetime then you’ll probably make a small fortune along the way.
