Crypto crowd gets music scene during SF Blockchain Week
From Tame Impala to Pond to Courtney Barnett and Cigarettes After Sex, the forecast is for sunshine and epic bands during SF Blockchain Week which actually runs two weeks, Monday, October 1 through Friday, October 12.
For the uninitiated, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is a massive festival gifted to San Francisco by philanthropist and private equity pioneer, Warren Hellman. It runs from Friday, October 5 through Sunday, October 7 and features 80+ bands across five stages in Golden Gate Park. Bring a picnic blanket and prepare for crowds. 750,000 people attended last year. Event is FREE!
Treasure Island Festival, a more mellow experience, is held the following weekend, Saturday, October 13 through Sunday, October 14, across the Bay at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland. Tickets are $185.
