My troubles with Sketch3

Problems when you design a website in Sketch.


Typography

  1. Too many versions required — light, dark, retina* and mobile alternatives. No way how to link them…

2. Disappearing text, when you hit “edit” … (fixed in 3.0.3)

3. link in a paragraph with shared style get overwritten when you change the style.

4. If you change text shared style when you’re editing or writing. It won’t take any effect and you have to finish editing and change it once more.

Buttons

For buttons I can’t use symbols, because of the fixed width and height… however this is a really helpful plugin for dynamic buttons

Vectors

  1. Not able to vectorize more than one path at time.
  2. Bug while copy/pasting more vectors — duplicating is fine

Other

After selecting other layer Sketch scrolls back to the first selected layer in the list.

And every day an “unexpected” crash…

PS: Sketch has fixed most of the bugs I had experience in last 3 weeks, I believe it’s not going to take long and my list will be empty. So I’m still going to use Sketch.
