Hello, Ontario!
Hillary Hartley

I briefly worked in the OPS years ago, and I met many amazing, talented and passionate colleagues while being there. People who embrace change and have waited for years for somebody at the top to get the government commitment to actually tackle transformation with dedication, structure, and a digital strategy that goes across organizational silos. I am happy for them that there is a Chief Digital Officer now!

As a resident of Ontario, I have also personally experienced what it means to run into bureaucratic obstacles, in part because of outdated/underutilized government technology. So I am glad the highest powers have picked somebody with actual transformational experience to lead the digital charge. It’s a big job, and I know it will take time. But I have high hopes, and I am glad you are here. Welcome!
