Philosophy in Flash and Fire. Sparks of Meaning: On Happiness, Truth, and a Labyrinth Within,

Among the themes I find most compelling are the concept of force in Simone Weil, which, alongside Sartre’s reflection on the objectifying gaze, provides a robust theoretical foundation for resisting violence against women.

You can find here the other themes:

  1. Are We Really in Search of Happiness?
  2. Epicurus’ Conception of Happiness is Wrong
  3. Plato’s Overview of the Soul
  4. From the Allegory of the Cave to the TVDrama “Fallout”: What Plato Can Teach Us
  5. A Man, a Woman, a Monster and the Meaning of Life
  6. The Concept of Force in Simone Weil
  7. René Descartes and Contemporary Ethical Dilemmas
  8. An Unexpected Beacon of the Truth
  9. None of Us, at The Point of Death

It would mean a great deal to me if you felt like sharing your thoughts after reading it — feel free to write to me directly at martinosacchi60@gmail.com.
