I invested £900 when my daughter was born 9 months ago. After doing a substantial amount of research (Investopedia is awesome) I used an online stockbroker called Degiro. Best bets for stocks is an ETF linked to an exchange like the Dow Jones or FTSE 100/250 that way you’re not invested in 1 company but an aggregate of lots. As I say Investopedia is the best place to start. I’m no expert but I am good with numbers and already making a tidy sum for my children. Happy investing!
