Over the past year I’ve been fortunate to enough to talk to lots of different design leaders from around the world and I began to hear more and more stories of how people have dealt with the pressures of leadership roles in design. In my social circIes came across a high number of people who have struggled with the transition from practitioner to manager. More specifically I’ve seen lots of friends struggling to adapt their skills to the demands of their orgs and teams.
As we’re in a strange COVID-19 induced lockdown situation and commute time is gone, I wanted to making use of this extra time to reach out to as wide a group as possible, to understand more about the state of wellbeing in our community.
I’ve put together a very short, fully anonymised survey, that should take you no more than 3 minutes to complete.
My plan is to get this to as many people as possible in the coming weeks, so please share. I will then collate all the responses and share them back in another post for us all to share.
