“The man you love to hate, but can’t..because you love what- i-make”

After watching the new Steve Jobs film, I got this weird feeling. Walking out of the theatre with a strong sense of motivation/frustration beginning to emerge. If only it could get passed my overall mixed emotions about what I just sat down to watch.
I wouldn’t go as far as saying that there was nothing was wrong with the film, I just thought It missed a lot of important peices.

After maybe half an hour into the film you forget that the actors look NOTHING like Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
Written by Aaron Sorkin, I was prepared to see a film heavily currated by dialoge and eotionally driven writing.
There was a lot of “I hate you” moments. quickly followed by “this is why I hate you” moments.
Everything I’ve ever read, watched, listened to about Steve Jobs didn't seem to be reflected by this film. Overall it was a crafted composition strongly focused on the relationship between a man and his daughter, as opposed to telliing the story about the founder of the biggest tech company on earth.
If you’re a fan at all of the writer Aaron Sorkin, don’t watch this film thinking it’s going to be anything stringing similarities to The Social Network because it won’t be.
Inside the brain of Steve Jobs, I’m sure no one could ever dissect what was always going on. Maybe watching this film we see more of a human side, or maybe this is just another film based on feels not facts.
