Peace in our Time

I guess this is what Mr. Obama wanted most from his legacy. Never mind global stability. We are going for freedom to move capital around the world in an orderly fashion. Diplomatic relations with Cuba? Trade with Iran?

Yes there still are areas of concern. Yes, we still need to be concerned about our personal safety, and those we care about.

Life needs to be lived, and we need to engage in the global consumption of resources.

It is good that Iran wants to play the game, along with Cuba, Russia and China. Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Greece, Germany, Japan, and others can benefit.

At least it will probably be more honest. Yes, there are bad actors. Likely, there will be reprecussions for those who choose to act outside of acceptable behavior.
