No. The Germans are the border-people of the Celtic/Germanic culture-zone in Europe. The Prussians are cultural Slavic-Vikings - like all people at the Baltic Coast. If you drive 3 hours in any direction from Prussia you hit a diff culture-zone, as that is where the borders are at. West of the Prussians f.e. are sitting the real vikings & south-west of them the real (Anglo-)Saxons. Who have more in common with the Swedish than with the Polish (what's closer to them).

It's a Prussian propaganda narrative to pretend that they are the founding fathers of modern Germany. While in reality is this area described for 2000 years as Germania and always a battle-ground of which culture zone dominates the other two. The entire idea of a unified border-area goes back to the Franks (West-Celtic/Germanics) and much longer the East-Celtic/Germanics (the mountain "Slavs" from Austria) ruled this area. That's why Vienna was the capital. It's still the largest culture-zone in Germany (and Europe). So most Germans are Catholic (dominant religion for East-Celtic/Germanics) & not Protestant/Lutheran (like the Prussians and all North Celtic/Germanics). And it is even in the name: FEDERAL (republic of Germany). A federation is always more than one. And in Germany it means de-centralized. Not like in Russia or UK, where you have a dominant culture that outpopulates the others. Prussians you will only find in the north-east in Central Europe along the Baltic Coast (nowadays Germany/Poland). That's why there was a Prussian Kingdom BUT a German(!) Realm. While "Realm" means dominion & is not Empire like the English term implies (German Empire), as there are no Germans inside Germany (like there are no British inside Britain). It's a term for a union.

So if you say: West AND Prussia. The Prussians are in your list the only ones with East-European (Celtic/Germanic) culture. The colonizers in Europe are the South (Roman/Greek); West- & North (Celtic/Germanic) cultures as you require a navy tradition to sail the sea. Inside Germany like Netherlands & UK are the vikings (you might better know as Saxons, diff term same folks) who did this. The Prussians colonized ppl too but in Europe. That's why German colonies were private foundings & Bismarck (a Prussian) went: The world is in Europe. As they did not need to go to Africa if you do have Slavs (East-Celtic/Germanics) & Franks (West-Celtic/Germanics) around you to exploit. The industrial zone in West-Germany is from that time you refer to because of this. The people there are all from East-Europe of the last 150 years brought there to work the mines, while the culture is West-Celtic/Germanic.

What does it matter. Consider me a goldfish living in a bowl in the icecold depth of Antarctica. I love bubbles, bourbon & cigars. So look at my words & not me.
