Three People Killed in Summit Air Plane Crash at Lukla Airport
KATHMANDU: One more accident in the Lap of Himalaya, the country Nepal. Nepal have a world dangerous airport which is the gateway to the world highest Mountain Everest. Today summit air plane skidded off the runway during the takeoff and collided with the two helicopter firstly with the Manang Air and Shree Air simultaneously .
Co-pilot of the plane age of 34 S Dhungana and Assistant Ram Bahadur Khadka Sub-Inspector age of 39 years , who was stationed at the helipad, were found death in the Accident . Assistant Sub-Inspector, Rudra Bahadur Shrestha age of 42 was harmed in the occurrence and carried to Kathmandu, passed on at Grande Hospital. The plane were carrying 2 people To the ramechhap .
The Rescue team of the lukla Airport Mr Pemba Nupu Bhote from Marvel Treks and Expedition said that the time of accident was 9:07 and It was a 8 flight from lukla to manthali for the summit air . Pemba Nupu sherpa also said that Rudra Bahadur Shrestha was seriously injured in this accident .

The incident happened as the aircraft with registration 9N-AMH skidded off the runway while getting ready to take off and hit two helicopters parked 30–50 meters from the runway. Captain RB Rokaya who was flying the aircraft and Captain Chet Gurung of Manang Air, who was in the helicopter, were additionally harmed in the incident.
They all are receiving treatment at Grande Hospital and are said to be out of danger. The aircraft had hit the helicopters of Manang Air and Shree Air.
Lukla airport, also known as Tenzing-Hillary airport which is the only the way to Mount Everest. Tenzing Hillary Airport is also known as the most difficult and dangerous airports in the world because of a short runway (527 meters) and challenging terrain.
