Imagine that you have a job a with employer-provided health care benefits and your employer says today that tomorrow there will be a benefits open enrollment. The employer doesn’t have the luxury of communicating any information about the plans, networks, doctors, or costs but you must make a decision by the end of the day. And by the way, one of the possibilities will be that you won’t have any health care plan at all — maybe for two years. The United States has entered a twilight zone where evil masquerades as normality. Next up is Medicare. Very scary times.
