NSF EAGER-NEON: Genomic plasticity in response to environmental variation

In collaboration with Katrina Dlugosch (http://dlugoschlab.arizona.edu/), we are using genomic plasticity to measure the response of plant communities to environmental change. We are especiallly interested in plants that are hypothesized to be disproportionally plastic: invasive species and species with recently duplicated genomes (polyploids). Our pilot study is based at the Harvard Forest National Ecological Observation Network (NEON) site, and we plan to expand to other NEON sites in the future.
