As The Beat Goes On: Love Is All That Matters

I’m taking a break from packing the old house to move into the new. (next blog post: "Detritus") Flipping channels, I catch a little of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, landing happily on Cowboy Mouth’s performance. It’s a cross between a tent revival and Tony Robbins seminar. Love it.

Listen to Fred’s love-on-your-neighbor patter in the clip below, a great song holding out for the transformative power of rock ‘n roll. And his after comment on the show today: "We want everyone to have a good time, but even more than that, to go away feeling good about themselves."

Yes, yes, yes. To be truly happy, be, do and enjoy you. To get the cool, supportive awesome people you want in your life, fly your freak flag proudly, rock your quirks and spread love freely. That’s working for me, and every truly contented person I know. ❤

“It’s all about the act of having faith and acting on that faith that makes us stronger and better than we are without it. Are you with me here?
The only thing that matters is what’s inside of your heart, and what’s inside of your soul. Are you with me here?”
