We say that men should support women’s rights because their mothers, sisters, daughters, etc., are women. No. They should support women’s rights because women are human, and because women are women. It doesn’t matter whether they have mothers, sisters, daughters, etc., or not. (Besides, those women don’t belong to them anyway. Treating women badly shouldn’t be an affront to men because their “property” is being treated badly.)
