Well done. Always interesting to see these kinds of round ups. I am aware that these officials are overwhelmingly from southern and western states. These states have suppressed votes, gerrymandered well, are home to fundamentalist types and are at the bottom of the pack in population size (see how few people get “represented” by 2 senators in Wyoming), and education quality. The lobby money is only half the story. We really have two Americas now. Sadly, nothing seems to bridge the gap between us that the powerful exploit so well.
