If you have little kids (or no kids) what I’m experiencing may seem like it’s irrelevant (or at least a long way off) but I promise you it’s not.

No kids here but that doesn’t mean I’m nose-down working all day. (Yes, those of us without kids have dogs, friends, errands to run and a life outside work. Kids are a great reason for breaks, but not the only reason ;-) I’m a big believer in taking 5 minutes to watch the birds in my back yard, or 10 minutes to catch up with a dear friend — even if they call when I’m in the middle of something. I’ve never regretted taking some time out to play with a dog or talk to my SO. And I never will.
