A few critical points left out here. First, we now know that the Russians perpetrated the WikiLeaks email dump. It makes me wonder about the theft of Clinton’s data from the DNC database way back at the start of his campaign. He didn’t have to collude with the Russians, but he does seem to have received significant help from them, as did Jill Stein. And at the critical lead-in from nomination to the general election both Sanders and Trump were pushing the myth that the primaries were rigged. Also, we now have polling and election data that clearly indicate that in especially the critical swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, Clinton lost by about 77,000 votes which gave the electoral college victory to Trump. In all those states, Republican voter suppression was in place and just enough progressive voters were motivated by the negative personal campaigns of both Sanders and the Green Party that they either didn’t vote for President or voted for the Green Party candidate. That’s how Trump was forced on the Country despite Clinton’s significant popular vote win. In other words, the Russian influence campaign worked very well because it was aimed at dividing the left in America! Finally, what is Sanders doing out now raising funds for things like the “Working Families Party” and for his “Revolution?” At the same time he pretends to advocate that Democratic candidates not accept help from even progressive PACs he’s tapping into the small dollar contributions that otherwise would go to Democratic candidates. There’s only so much money small-dollar donors have to contribute. He basically is working against unity within the Democratic Party at a time when the only political force that can stand up to the truly fascist Republican Party is a strong, well-funded, unified Democratic Party.
