This is a Be Useful Post

This is a How To form of a Be Useful post and shows how to set up Medium in a few easy steps. It’s also a Behind the Scenes form of a Be Human post because I’m including a picture of me and my husband Rick taken about 4 years ago. We went to Cabo on a cruise and for $25, we got to hold this live baby leopard for about 5 minutes. What a deal! I’d pay anything to hold a live baby leopard!

Now, back to the How To post. Note that some of my text is bolded. It’s easy to bold. Just highlight the text and poof, you get an editing tool bar that lets you bold, italic, create headers (that’s the H1, H2 and H3) plus make a quote and add a link. Fun stuff.

Try writing and then hitting return.

Each time you do — you get the + icon, which, if you click on it, allows you to add an inline photo (like the one above), a video, an embed, or a new part. Cool.

Now, when you have written enough and are ready to publish, just click the arrow thing at the very top right hand corner of the page (looks like this below) and publish. You’ll have the option to share to Facebook and/or Twitter. Share your post and remember to use the #bus152 hashtag. And just like that, you’re a publisher!
