Wow. So, the point of this article is that people are grieving wrong? You had to turn it into a Nancy Reagan/Just Say No to Drugs public service announcement?
Try walking into a funeral home and telling mourners that the person they’re crying over wasn’t “taken too soon”, no, they refused to change their diet and would not…

This article is one big long “no shit.” No shit some of these people lived fast lives and…
So if you did a lot of drugs in the 1980s, get clean and advocate for recovery, struggle with mental health issues and help others by being open about it, and become an excellent writer, someone still pegs you as a casualty of addiction? It’s just as likely her bipolar meds killed her as anything else. Super glad I’m not a celebrity.
I really just love how, in your cherry picking of two possibly, but corretively at best, drug-abuse-deaths, you make a blanket statement that includes Nancy Reagan as a drug addict ☺
Thank god, someone finally realized the truth.
Really? Because I’m pretty sure Alan Rickman, Nancy Reagan, John Glenn, Arnold Palmer, Florence Henderson and several dozen others that we have lost in 2016 had nothing whatsoever to do with drugs. Obviously people know that 2016 isn’t killing people. But when 115 worldwide celebrities have died in one calendar year, it gives humans something to “blame” for the losses that just seem to keep on coming.
