Into the Light… A Trail of Shadows Behind

I really enjoyed your post. I can relate to Ann Lamott’s words; of our heart that never seals back up. That is the most beautiful part of losing a beloved. I feel life’s moments so much more deeply, profoundly. Gratitude comes quickly and often. I lost my husband 8 years ago and our kids were 6 and 8 at the time. I will share your post with my now teenagers who grapple with their profound loss of a dad who adored them. I’m grateful they had the time they did with him. He was extraordinary and they had him for awhile.Gratitude helps when I feel the loss they have suffered. Thank you!!
