HOMELESS HERO: Understanding the Soul of Home…a book by Mike Tapscott
Phoenix, AZ has one of the largest campuses dedicated to assisting the homeless population with a variety of issues—from a safe place to sleep to job training, self-understanding, learning ballroom dance (yeah—a way to ‘keep in touch’ with one another in a polite, respectful and fun way), finding documents related to the need for a personal ID, etc.
In the book HOMELESS HERO, Tapscott took it upon himself to investigate aspects of living life without a shelter and found some beautiful truths. In the book, he interviewed those who were without walls, those who wore the cloak of SMI (Serious Mental Illness), those who chose jobs in such an ‘industry.’
There will always be humans who choose to live without walls—or who do not choose but have the choice made for them by something or someone no one will ever know in the flesh.
That is why there should always be a place for these souls (those who provide services and those who use such services) to have the experiences they need to learn.
May the thing that is God Energy Of The Entire Universe (whatever it is) continue to bless and pay attention to humanity as attention was paid here in this article!
